Macadamia nuts are a type of tree nut native to Australia, but now grown commercially in many countries including South Africa, Central and South America, and Hawaii. They have a hard shell and a creamy, rich flavor, and are often consumed as a snack or used in cooking, baking, and confectionery. They are also a good source of healthy monounsaturated fats and minerals like magnesium, potassium, and iron.
